Moosekit - Moosepaw - Moosefeather - Moosestar | 39 moons | Leader | Duskclan | Male |
LOOKS Moosestar is a tall tom, with long legs and thick fur. He has black tabby markings on his brown fur, with a long feathery tail. White paws and a white underbelly really contrast against his darker fur patterns. His fur is extremely well kept, and is groomed on a routine schedule. He has yellow/green eyes, and black ear tips. He is good at fighting, with his large body frame.
PERSONALITY The most simple trait Moosestar has is his desire to be perfect. Not only does he desire himself to be perfect, but he wants everything around him to be just right. This need leads him to seeing the world as something he needs to fix. If anything goes wrong, he takes it upon himself to set things right. At the same time, if something does go wrong, this leads to Moosestar blaming himself instead of anyone else. The tom never gets mad at anyone else but himself. He puts everyone else so far above himself and is compassionate and supporting of them.. By doing this, he often sets himself up to be let down and saddened. Even though he is often self-critical or disappointed by someone else, he doesn't let that stop him from being cheerful. Moosestar loves to cheer others up, mainly because he thinks everyone being happy is part of his perfect world. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance to better themselves. Moosestar trusts everyone around him, and he never judges someone, unless he knows they can do better. If Moosestar knows someone is not putting their best paw forward, he becomes agitated and frustrated with that cat. The tom has a rather soft voice, so yelling loudly isn't something he is good at. Rather then yell, Moosestar will stare at someone until they apologize or walk away. He is very stubborn once he makes up his mind. The tom is easily fooled, as he puts his trust in other cats too easily. Because his temperament is so fickle, the tom is often viewed as unpredictable.
HISTORY Moosestar was born to a kind pair of clan cats. He was born in Duskclan with one sibling named Wildkit. He and Wildkit tried their best to get along, but it didn't always work. They were constantly bickering as kits, with polar opposite personalities. The only thing they had in common was their appearance. He grew up always trying to be perfect and positive, to make up for the anger and destruction Wildkit left on people. As apprentices, Wildpaw and Moosestar grew closer. They behaved more like siblings than then ever before. The real reason behind this was that their parents were splitting, and they both needed someone to help them cope with the constant fights. They grew a deeper understanding for each other, and became inseparable. They certainly were lucky to have mentors that allowed them to train together. When the two became warriors, they grew distant, partly due to their opposite personalities, but remained good friends. Moosefeather was named after his good intentions and delicate ways, and Wildwind was named for her wild ways and how they changed everything around her like the wind. Neither of them have had an apprentice, but both had a desire to obtain one. Within 3 moons both the tom and the she-cat had been granted an apprentice. They often joked that they should’ve switched apprentices for Moosefeather's sake, because his apprentice was so wild. The joke was short-lived as Wildwind’s apprentice had a medical phenomenon that the medicine cat described as a stroke and passed away. Wildwind was heartbroken and could barely survive. She closed off to everyone, even her brother. Moosefeather was confused and hurt, but he was also being considered for deputy, so he put her aside for those vital few days. And within a few months, Wildwind was on the brink. Moosefeather had gotten the position he had wished for, but at what cost to himself and his relationship? The tom was too busy with his own vision of a perfect clan to realize the struggle within his sister. She soon passed away herself, thought he exact method of which she passed was never discovered. Moosefeather felt guilty and personally responsible, but his own leader had grown extremely ill. He pushed his emotions to the edge and refused to acknowledge them, all because he swore to himself that the perfect clan came before himself. For the following moons, he kept these emotions deep inside himself, buried under false facades of happiness and content.
